My name is Lynde. I am a married, stay at home from Nebraska. My husband and I have been married for 5 years and have 4 beautiful children. Our kids range in age from 1 to 12 years old.
I decided to start writing this blog because I when I was a new mom I could have used more resources. I’m hoping to be that resource for someone else. I don’t know everything, and I never will because parenting isn’t a skill you can perfect. I have, however, done a lot of trial and error. I have purchased items that helped tremendously, I have also purchased items that never left their box. I have tried every tip and trick when it comes to parenting from teething, to potty training, to pre-adolescence. I know what can work, as well as what probably won’t.
Most importantly I know how hard motherhood is. I know how hard it is to navigate all of the information that is thrown at us. I know how hard it is when we are constantly judged for what we do or what we don’t do. Motherhood is the most difficult, but truly the most rewarding job. It can be thankless at times, but seeing our kids thrive is rewarding enough.
If you’re here it’s likely that you are looking for tips and tricks, but I also hope you can come here to find a sense of community. I hope you feel less alone, and less intimidated in your motherhood journey. Please know whatever you are going through, whatever you are experiencing, you’re not alone. Thousands of mothers, including myself, have been there. Come along on this journey with me. We can get through this crazy ride together.
